It is a small spot scanning laser that has a unique customizing technology built right into the system. It utilizes the “K” readings or curvature of your cornea and performs a customized treatment for each patient based on these measurements and the prescription. This customization is characterized by its unique ability to maintain the natural “prolate” or round shape of your cornea like no other laser can do. This is especially important for the reduction of spherical aberrations. This technology is helpful in maintaining good vision at night and we believe may increase the quality of vision overall.
